Egyptians say the dance originated from the time of Pharaohs and pyramids as before mentioned; Greeks believe the dance is an ancient tribal ritual passed down from prehistoric times; Persians treated the dance as a mystic and private religious ritual and sultans ordered the dance in their prestigious courts.
